Who wants to increase their sexual desire?…. Now, who wants to increase their sexual desire with food? I know I do! I love food! Well Valentine’s Day is coming up and what better occasion to make you and partner a delicious meal to get you in the mood?! I’m of course referring to the wonderful world of Aphrodisiacs! The goddess Aphrodite herself would swoon over these delicious recipes!  It’s time to get cookin’!

There are so many foods that can help to increase your sexual desire, it’s insane! Alot of foods that you consume daily are in fact amazing aphrodisiacs if we ate more of them! I found a great list of six aphrodisiacs that make super yummy meals all put together: Avocados, almonds, bananas, basil, chocolate, and garlic! I have used all six of them in the recipes below! Let the mood food kick in!
Dinner: Creamy Avocado Pesto  
    Ingredients:
1 (8 oz.) package of penne pasta
1 avocado, peeled and pitted
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/2 cup fresh basil (add more for flavor if desired)
2 Tbsp. grated Romano cheese
2 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Boil pasta 8-10 minutes or until cooked through. Drain and rinse.
Blend avocado, lemon juice, basil, Romano cheese, garlic and salt & pepper in a food processor until smooth. Add olive oil and pulse until creamy. Transfer pesto in with the pasta and stir to coat.

Dinner is served! Mmmmmmm…. Avocado pesto… The thought is already making my mouth water! This is such an easy recipe that ANYONE could make it! It’s also much cheaper to make at home than if you ordered it at a restaurant! Cheap, easy, delicious and makes you horny?! Yes please!
Dessert: Fried Banana Bonanza
    Ingredients:
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup whipping cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup Cointreau or Triple Sec
1 Tbsp. butter
6 bananas, peeled and halved lengthwise
1 cup toasted sliced almonds

Place chocolate chips, cream, and vanilla in a small saucepan. Stir over medium-low heat until chocolate chips are melted.Stir in Cointreau or Triple Sec and set aside.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add bananas cut-side down and cook until golden brown on both sides (3-4 minutes).
To serve, ladle some sauce onto the center of a plate. Place two banana halves on each plate. Sprinkle with almonds and enjoy.

Anyone else want this right now?!?! Oh man… Now I am thinking about how delicious these meals are going to be when I make them… With the dessert recipe, you could also sprinkle some nutmeg over the top as it is also an aphrodisiac! Random fact! The main component in nutmeg that acts as the aphrodisiac is myristicin, which a small component in the “love drug” MDMA or ecstasy! CRAZY!!!
